Newmanites help prepare sandwiches for the homeless of Montreal in collbration with Reform & Resettle
Food-packing for the Homeless

The Newman Catholic Students’ Society offers many ways for students to serve God by serving others, whether on the McGill campus, in the greater Montreal community, and beyond. Our social justice activities in past years have included:

  • Partnerships with St. Padre Pio Parish and El Divino Rostro Parish in the Philippines (ongoing)
  • Partnerships with Reform & Resettle and Open Door Montreal
  • Thanksgiving food drive for the St. Willibrord Parish soup kitchen (recurring)
  • Monthly sandwiches and sanitary products for the Montreal homeless (recurring)
  • Donations on behalf of Cardinal Carter Award winners

If you would like to participate in any of the above activities, or if you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, please feel free to contact the VP Social Justice here.
